Pack 133's Spring Trip!!

What:  An overnight trip to "Project Oceanology"

When:  April 22-23, 2017

Where:  Project Oceanology
             1084 Shennecossett Rd #1
             Groton, CT 06340
             (approximately 3 hour drive one way)

Who:  Pack 133 Families ages 6 and up only.  Only participants age 7 and up are allowed on water vessel.

How:  RSVP by March 1, 2017 on Scoutbook – first come, first serve basis.  Please provide number of adults and children over 6 years of age in the Scoutbook RSVP comment box.

Important Details:


  • Participants must bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel. 
  • Fee includes dinner on April 22nd, breakfast on April 23rd, overnight accommodations in bunkrooms and shower facilities.
  • Children under age 6 are not permitted aboard the boat for their own safety
  • A Project Oceanology patch to take home for each scout is provided
  • Minimum number of participants:  25;  Maximum:  56 including parents/guardians
  • Cost:  $100 per person; Pack is contributing $25 per person
  • Payment due to Gina Flores at 12 Florie Farm Road by March 8, 2017

  6:30-8:30 Lab Study: Plankton Program

April 23
  8:00am Breakfast
  9:00-11:30 Shore Program: Rocky Intertidal and Beach clean-up​
