JOCKEY HOLLOW TRAIL PATCH REQUIREMENTS

What??   You're telling me that Scouts and earn a patch for completing the 5 mile hike??   Oh yeah!  Patriots Path Council offers the award as one of several historical hikes offered in New Jersey.

This is a great opportunity to learn about American history right in your own backyard!  Scouts must complete the entire 5 mile hike and answer the questions to qualify for the patch.  Answers to all questions are available on the trail.  Your hike leader will point them out as you go.  After completing the hike, your hike leader will test your knowledge of the trail at the end of the hike with a quiz.

Pack 133's own Tom Shaw prepared a presentation to train Cub Scout leaders at the University of Scouting.   Check it out!

Review Patriot Path's Council's trail guide prior to the hike so as to familiarize yourself with the trail map, patch questions, etc.

If you have Scouts who because of disabilities, etc. cannot complete the 5 mile hike, please see the hike leader, Tom Shaw.
