How Often We Meet
Den schedules are set by the den leaders. At the Tiger level (1st grade) they meet once a month with adult partners (parent or guardian - 1 adult per child). Go See It’s (field trips) are typically scheduled once a month. At the older ranks, the boys den meetings do not require an adult partner, although the boys do meet more frequently. Often families are asked to take turns assisting the leaders by helping to run at least one den meeting during the year.
All the boys come together monthly for a pack meeting, which is led by our CubMasters and run by dens in turn. At these pack meetings we recognize scouts' achievements, explore the monthly scouting theme and the boys have the opportunity to interact with all scouts in the pack. Scouts are expected to attend our monthly pack meetings
The Pack Committee also organizes an activity nearly every month for our scouting families (hikes, campouts, Pinewood Derby - see our Annual Activities page for details). Scouts are encouraged to participate in any and all activities that interest them and fit their schedule.
