In Pack 133, we’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, Pack 133 aims to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the challenge. The best way to find out what you do best is to do it. Explore the great outdoors. Pitch a tent. Build a Pinewood Derby® car. Cub Scouts are at the magical age where everything is new and possible and, most important, fun! They live in a world of “firsts” — first hike, first campfire, first checkered flag —where their game plan is their imagination. Their most valuable reward is the friends they make for life and a parent’s proud smile. Nationally, girls were welcomed into Cub Scouts in 2018; In January 2024, Pack 133 decided to welcome girls into its Pack so that both boys and girls can benefit from the awesome Cub Scout program. This change will allow girls the chance to do what they have seen their brothers and friends do for years and enable girls to get experiences that other organizations don’t offer. Without these changes, girls in Mendham would not be able to have the same experiences and learn the same skills as boys in Scouting. Since 1971, Pack 133 has been Mendham's Best-in-Class Cub Scout Pack and is guided by exceptional leaders with unparalleled Scouting experience and training who will always put the needs of your child first. We provide our Cub Scouts with a fun, exciting, year-round program that promotes hands-on learning and achievement – preparation not just for today, but for life. Our trained leaders work hard to achieve the BSA's mission:
