- A Lion Den will consist of 6-8 boys or girls; the Den will meet once or twice a month starting in September – location and time to be determined by the Den Leader in conjunction with input from the parents. Meetings are approximately 45 minutes long.
- Lions will also participate in the monthly Pack meeting. Pack meetings, held monthly on Friday evening at Hilltop House (next to Hilltop Elementary School), are where the Scouts from all of the other dens come together for one meeting. Scouts are recognized with awards for the hard work they have done during the prior month. Additionally, a Scouting-oriented presentation (recent presentations include a wolf-handler, Seeing Eye, fire department, reptile-handler, rescue squad, etc) is made during the meeting as well as Scout-led skits, songs and cheers.
