The Webelos program is divided into Webelos I & II patrols. The Webelos I program is for 4th Grade (9-10 year old) boys. The Webelos II program is for 5th Grade (10-11 year old) boys. The Webelos program serves as the stepping stone from Cub Scouting to Boy Scouts.
Webelos activities are aligned with the requirements outlined in the Webelos Scout Book, and include activity badges, patrol meetings and preparations for the move to Boy Scouting.

Typically, in March, 2nd year Webelos graduate from the pack and join a local Boy Scout Troop. The requirements for the Arrow of Light help to prepare a young man to join Boy Scouting. The Arrow of Light Ceremony signifies the rite of passage from Cub Scouting to Boy Scouting.
